How did you learn English in Grade 7 Semester 1?

In Grade 7 Semester 1, I learned English through a variety of methods. We had English classes with our teacher twice a week, where we learned grammar, vocabulary, and practiced speaking. We also had a weekly English club, where we played games and did activities to practice our language skills. In addition, I watched English TV shows and movies, listened to English music, and read English books to improve my comprehension and pronunciation.

What were the biggest challenges you faced in learning English?

One of the biggest challenges I faced in learning English was understanding the different accents and dialects. English is spoken by people all over the world, and each country has its own unique way of speaking. Sometimes it was difficult to understand what people were saying, especially if they spoke quickly or used slang. Another challenge was remembering all the grammar rules and vocabulary words. There were so many to learn, and it was easy to forget them if I didn't practice regularly.

What strategies did you use to overcome these challenges?

To overcome the challenge of understanding different accents and dialects, I watched English TV shows and movies with subtitles. This helped me to recognize words and phrases that I might not have understood otherwise. I also asked my teacher and classmates for help when I didn't understand something. To remember grammar rules and vocabulary words, I made flashcards and practiced them regularly. I also tried to use the words and grammar structures in my own writing and speaking to reinforce my learning.

What was the most rewarding part of learning English?

The most rewarding part of learning English was being able to communicate with people from different countries and cultures. English is a universal language, and being able to speak it allowed me to connect with people from all over the world. I also felt a sense of accomplishment every time I learned a new word or grammar rule and was able to use it correctly in a sentence. Learning English has opened up new opportunities for me and has made me feel more confident in my ability to communicate with others.
