My 2021 English CET-4 Result

What is CET-4?

CET-4 stands for the College English Test Band 4, which is a standardized English proficiency test in China. It is designed to evaluate the English language ability of college students, and it is widely recognized by Chinese universities and employers as a measure of one's English proficiency.

How did I prepare for CET-4?

I started preparing for CET-4 about three months before the test date. I focused on improving my listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. I watched English movies and TV series, read English books and articles, and practiced speaking English with my classmates. I also took some mock tests to get familiar with the test format and to evaluate my progress.

How did I feel during the test?

To be honest, I felt quite nervous during the test. The listening part was especially challenging because the speakers spoke very fast. However, I tried my best to stay calm and focused, and I managed to finish all the sections in time.

What was my result?

I was very happy with my result! I scored 576 out of 710, which is above the passing score of 425. This means that my English proficiency is at the intermediate level, and I am able to communicate effectively in most situations. I am proud of my accomplishment and I feel more confident in my English skills now.

What are my plans for the future?

My goal is to continue improving my English skills and to reach the advanced level. I plan to read more English books and articles, practice speaking with native speakers, and take more advanced English courses. I also want to take the CET-6 test in the future to further evaluate my English proficiency.
